The Hayle project is generating some excellent publicity which shows students how social action and community groups can raise their profile.
Screen machine is a 'cinema on wheels' which will be around during the holiday season and hopefully will offer some work experience opportunities. This visit will highlight the need for a cinema outlet in Hayle. Digital exhibition is the future of cinema as the 3D experience offers something the home cinema cannot provide. This ties in with the ethos of the Pioneerium providing vital community facilities to enrich the cultural experiences of the local people.
The Screen Machine has also been on Radio 4 and would make a great case study for A level Film Studies. It is currently in Scotland bringing the cinema experience to rural communities. www.screenmachine.co.uk
