Tasks
For this assignment you need to show an understanding of the financial, legal and practical constraints which will inform and influence your project. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to work effectively within these constraints throughout the project. You will need to provide the following:

Evidence:
• Details of the funding arrangements relevant to your partner organisation
(‘Cornwall Council’ funding, registered charity, community project, ‘National Lottery’ funded, ‘Convergence’ funding, ‘Heritage’ funding)
• Full inventory of all the resources that will be available to you for your project
• A detailed budget addressing possible cost implications
• Full discussion of all practical constraints in a SWOT analysis.
• Full discussion of any legal issues which impact upon your project in a web-log pr production journal. This may include legislation relating to working with vulnerable people, working with children
• A full Risk assessment for the project
• Process Portfolio / Level 3 / Unit 3 – Interaction/ candidate’s name


I would suggest starting with interviewing your partner about the above. Ask for full details of their project. Another angle would be to explore the web-site for their organisation. The Tre Project for example has details of governance and about their ethos. www.awen.org.uk/governance.

Barbara Santi is coming in on Friday to conduct a workshop about working with archive footage. This will hopefully inspire your short film idea.
