You are researching cultural diversity in your local area. Find out what venues are available and what artists are performing or exhibiting in the area. Your visit to the Acorn Arts Centre and interview with the events organiser should have provided an insight into a major venue for live acts in West Penwith.
Each Tuesday you will be taken to meet a possible partner and to research 'what's on' in your local area. Make sure that you take photographs and record the answers to your investigative questions. We have set up visits to the Penlee Gallery and PZ gallery in Penzance. You have met with the organisers of the Golowan festival which celebrates pagan traditions of midsummer in Penwith. You will also visit St Ives and work with the Tate gallery. You then need to present your research findings in the form of a magazine article in your graphic design sessions. You also need to record your research and evaluate your findings and visits in your blog.
